Sudden Fright!

Today, I was doing my homework. When I got to the reading part, I asked my sister to time me for one minute. Then, she started. I was reading my book and became so interested in it that, when my sister said "stop", she touched my head and gave me a sudden fright. I was so startled! I gasped when she touched me. My eyes were also wide! I can't believe how startled I was. I think it was mostly because I was too focused on my book and I forgot everything around me. I thought about it and it took so much effect on me that I can't stop thinking about it. I know what a book can do to me now.
