Well, I had been reading this book named "The Book Thief", and I've been writing about this book lately. It took me about 3 days to finish reading this. The book is about a girl named Liesel and Death is talking about her in her own point of view. And in the story, she had a brother that died, and her mom don't want her anymore so Liesel got a foster mother and father. She was being called the book thief for stealing books and stuff. And she's in the time of the Holocaust. And in the book, the foster father, Hans, is a warman. So I feel sad for him. And in the book, she helped this Jewish boy named Max. Saved him from the soldiers. And there's this best friend if her's named as Rudy. And he likes her, but I don't get why he paints himself black though...... And in the ending of the book, Max got beaten up by some German soldiers and blood was bleeding everywhere, but didn't say that he died, so I'm not sure if he did..... And Liesel was very sad that she was in her bedroom for 4 days, and Rudy was very worried. Until Liesel came out and talked to Rudy and telled him to keep a secret. And that's how the story ends. Liesel died. Not telling you how she died until you read it. And to tell you this. Death says that he doesn't have a scythe or a sickle. He only wears this black robe if it's cold. And he says that he doesn't have a skull or some kind of decoration like that on his face that humans put on him, he say he looks like if you put your face in the mirror (I don't understand that part clearly though). And go collects people's soul in his hand. And he collected Liesel's soul and took it away. And that's just how it ended. It was a really good book. I would recommend this book to people with high reading level like after 7 or 8th grade because this book is really hard to understand, it even made me confused sometimes. And there's some strong languages in the is book. But I do liked the book.-Eric
