The Series of Unfortunate Events

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events amaze me in many ways.
Warning
: There are a total of 13 volumes.

Based on the first three novels of the deliciously malicious Lemony Snicket series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, chronicles the misfortunes of the three extraordinary Baudelaire orphans, who are left in the not-so-loving care of a wickedly eccentric actor after their parents die in a mysterious fire. You won't find Roald Dahl or Tim Burton in the credits, but clearly their works influenced this sinister saga. Like many of Dahl's books, Snicket's heroes are courageous children plagued by dim-witted adults.
Inventor Violet Baudelaire, her intelligent younger brother Klaus, and their sharp-toothed, precocious baby sister, Sunny, are orphaned when a mysterious fire destroys their parents' mansion. Mr. Poe, the banker in charge of the Baudelaire estate, entrusts them to their "closest relative" like their parents' will says (Poe mistakenly interprets it as the relative that lives closest to them) the obnoxious Count Olaf, who is only interested in the money the children will inherit, and loses custody of the children after attempting to kill them in a staged train accident.
You see, the funny thing is that Lemony Snicket makes you not want to read the book. Many other authors want to make you read the book, not keep you away from the book.
Well, the point is that i love this book. It's very adventurous and exciting! Not dull or dry.

(This was actually for yesterday's blog)
