Reading Quilt

Hello my fellow readers and booklovers! I know that this is now the time for you to turn in your reading quilts. This activity was designed to expose you to the different genres of literature and make sure that you get the opportunity to read many different kinds of books. Let me know what you think of the reading quilt and some of your favorite genres.

    I think the reading quilt has made me read all different kinds of genres, but i still like the type of genres i use like.

    My favorite genres is historcial fiction because it bring me back to a time period that some part really happen.

    I think that the reading quilt was a great idea! And my favorite genre is fantasy, realistic fiction, and poetry.

    I really like the idea of reading quilt. Because you get to read other different genres and write reviews about it.

    Some of my favorite genres are,
    Fantasy
    Graphic Novel
    Realistic Fiction
    and a lot more.

    The reading quilts are good becuse it can give us as a guide to find what our favorite genre of books are. Plus it was fun because I found what favorite genre is.

    Since we did the reading quilt my favorite genre is now graphic novels.

    I still have the same favorite kinds of genres as the last time. Like realistic fiction, fantasy, and I also like to read magazines, now I read more magazines as I did before.

    I think that the author study is difficult because you have to read 3 different books that the author wrote and I just read all kinds of books and don't worry about the author.

    Well I think the reading quilt idea worked. Before I used to just read fantasy. But now I read Adventure, Fantasy, Informational Text and Graphic Novels. So my favorite books are The Twilight Series and Kingdom Hearts 2 the graphic novel.

    I like realistic fiction because I can relate to some of the books and also because I feel like it really gets my attention I think that the reading quilt was a great way of getting students to read many different genres so that they dont lose interest fast.

    I think you're right because when you read different books your mind has so many things in it that you could talk about with your friends or teachers

    My favorite book is the breadwinner because it shows you that other kids in the world don't get as much stuff as we do

    My favorite book is Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen and you could tell I like the book because I remember the author's name. My favorite genre is realistic fiction, because there is a lot of drama and solutions.
