Action Packed Book

I just finished reading Eragon, it was action -packed, a page turner and surprising. It was interesting to me that Brom, an old man, was once a Rider. According to the book the riders were ancient warriors that rode dragons and kept peace throughout the land. I was surprised by this because he seemed too old to be one. Also, Eragon kills a Shade, it was surprising because I didn't think Eragon was strong enough. you see only two people ever killed a Shade. You should really read this.
