Sunday I went to N.Y.C. I wanted to get books but my parents said to take a break off of school and enjoy the time we have. I still read the commercial. It was really huge. All advertisement. My dad and I just stood and looked. It was fun even tho I couldn't get a book. :/

Are you quick and fast?

How long does it take for you to finish your book? Do some of you finish a novel in 4 or 7 days? Why do you think you read so much in such short time? Well, it's because you chose a good book and you just couldn't take your eyes away from it! And just yesterday, I started a book called "Fairest", and I finished today. It's a good book. What's record for reading?

Reading because you have to

In school we all know we read in all classes, right? Well reading because your teacher tells you to is not really reading to me. Although I hate reading sometimes, I would like to read something that is interesting to me, or read something that everyone in your class have not read yet. Let's say we all had to read "Bridge of Terabithia" Katherine Paterson. I don't really like discussing book with people who read the book, because then they will already know the information and might as well while talking about the book with each other conclude the conversation with what I was about to say about the text. This is just my opinion and perspective...COMMENTS?(below)

Chiggers

I read a graphic novel called "Chiggers" by Hope Larson. I suggest only girls to read this book because this book is based on mostly girls' point of views. This book is about a teenage girl, Abby, who returns to the summer camp she goes to every summer. But this year everything changed for her, her closest friend Rose, went to college and became a cabin assistant so she doesn't get to spend a lot of time with Abby. Beth, another close friend of Abby, had a triple pierce and decided to form a rock band. But this made me learn that friendship is very resilient and it can't break so easily. If a friend did something that makes you mad, that means you care about them and she is a friend you really value. If you just had a few happy times and you don't really think or care about her, this is just a common friend you have.

Reading is Important

Reading is really important because sometimes when your bored you can read and when you are making something or cooking something and you don't really understand what to do, you read the instructions first. Sometimes when you do not have anything to do you can read a book and not waist time just watching television or playing on the computer, and playing video games. That will make you be lazy. Also when your at a place where there are some things on the wall that you can read, you can read those as well because they might be important things.

The long weekend

Reading is Important !

On Saturday, while baking brownies, the instructions told me to put 1/3 of a cup of vegetable oil, but instead I put 1/4 of a cup of canola oil because I forgot and didn't read the instructions before I baked the brownies and in the end, the brownies turned out pretty nasty and then I had to throw it in the trash and the brownies were wasted and now I know why reading is important !

they met a hollows which is a evil spirit that eats human.The hollow was trying to get Ichigo's family and Rukia as a shinigami is to protect human from hollows,she try to defend his family but she got injures so Rukia lends her power to Ichigo so he could protect his family but Ichigo took all power and he became a soul reaper.He use his power and rescue his family but Rukia can't go back to Soul Society.After Ichigo became a soul reaper he has to use his power and help people.Read this Grapic Novels about a brave teen.

Vampire Academy Vs. Twilight

Before I harp on about the first book, I want to comment on the series so far:

these books are really readable and quite good fun. They pull fewer punches than a lot of other supernatural novels, and the series gets quite a bit darker as it progresses. The characters encounter myriad trials--mental instability, torture, betrayal, death, and (of course) true love. The primary protagonist, Rose, is especially strong; she is tough, quick-tempered, but very clever with a great sense of humor (and she develops a depth and sadness as the series progresses). Best of all, I think that most of the books in the series are consistent, building effectively on one another--something I can't say for most sagas.

So many people talk about Twilight and miss this super great book......

I liked Twilight, but I had a hard time dealing with Bella. I thought she was just too.. girly for some having with vampires. I wanted someone that could stand with them in a fight and not cower behind....Enter Rose. She is the bodyguard to Lissa, a vampire princess that must attend school and keep out of the clutches of the dark side. Rose is aggressive and hard headed, sometimes risking Lissa while trying to prove she is strong, but all the while terrified to let anyone else in.

To make her stronger, her elders bring in the hot and ever so delicious Dimitri and with fists and kicks a flying, Rose's world gets a might more interesting.

This is one killer book for anyone who loves Vampires and is looking for a good young adult book. I strongly urge anyone, not just teens to pick it up because once you start it, you won't put it down or the second and third.

So get past Edward and Bella, not that I don't love them, and sink your teeth into Rose and Lissa's often dangerous lives.

I really think this book is much better than Twilight, but i'm not saying Twilight is bad.

Why i like to read.

I read when I'm bored. It's amazing because then I'll find some random book and start getting in to it. I've seen the book before but I have never read it, but when I read it got interesting and I don't notice how fast the time goes but when I stop reading I notice how much some books are instead of judging it because of its cover.

Hikaru No Go

Hikaru No Go, a graphic novel about a middle school boy named as Hikaru, finding an old go board his grandpa has in the attic planning to sell it, but when he saw the red stain on the board, he started to hear a voice calling him. And a person named Fujiwara No Sai appeared (Sai). Sai made him play a game that he doesn't even like- Go(a japanese board game), but later on, Hikaru started liking the game as he progesses with Sai, and he starts getting good at it now, he'll become a pro like how he wanted to be.

Cirque Du Freak(Volume 1)

This book falls in the genre of Fantasy.It about 4 friends who saw a flyer about "Cirque Du Freak" which is a show that has freaks that is real without costume.These 4 friends plans to go to this show by using their own money and they figured out that one ticket cost $23 and they know they didn't have enough money so Steve try to take some money out of his mother's jar to make it enough money and he want to buy tickets for his friend but the guy only give him 2 tickets because one flyer worth 2 ticket and the guy took the $ 92.So Steve told his friends that he will put the ticket in a bag with other papers and they have to find the ticket and Darren find it.Steve and Darren didn't tells their parent about it and walk to the theater and figured out that they were the only kids that came to watch the show.In the show.........a wolfman bit of the woman hand but the people put her hand together and other people were scary and left but Steve and Darren still stay to watch.Do you think Darren and Steve will survived in the show read this first volume of Cirque Du Freak about two brave friends to find out.Watch it, it will be a scary book!

This book is actually a horror type book and the author name is R.L. Stine. This book is about a boy who loved pets and really wanted one, but his opinion changed when he was attacked by hundreds of vicious hamsters and nearly got killed while trying to feed them!

This is book is about boy who lost his parent's when they were in London when a huge rhino broke loose from the London zoo and ate them. Now he has to live with his two aunts who work him to death. Their names are called Aunt Piker and Aunt Sponge. But when a old man give him little green buds that are supposed to be magical they break loose and, cause a big peach to grow on a old peach tree. But his aunt's ban him from eating,touching,and staring at. So he as to try to get out of there.

The Book of 100 Truths

The Book of 100 Truths by Julie SchuMacher is a great book to read.
I recommend it to EVERYONE.
The first thing I can say about this book is that it was short. A 3-4 day book, I managed to finish it in 2 days. Why? Julie Schumacher did such a great job that I couldn't put the book down.

Thea spends six weeks every year at her Grandma's beach house, but this year is different. She spends most of the time there either babysitting her nosy 7-year-old cousin, or writing in the Book of Truths that her mom gave to her. The thing about Theadora Grumman is that she is a liar. Because she's such a liar, Thea's mom is making her write a book with 100 true things, like the story that when she was at Three-Mile Creek and her friend almost fell through the ice and died, and the truth that she doesn't even have very many friends. Thea's cousin is always trying to find out what Thea's writing in her book. She is bugging Thea like crazy, but what is also bugging her is that something is going on with her aunts. They're acting very secretive and suspicious and they won't tell anyone what they are up to so it's up to Thea to find out why.

This was definitely a book I would read over again! I like how the author really made it a fictional mystery and exciting all at the same time. I could never put it down! really hope that the author has other books of hers that I can read. I hope you find it somewhere because you don't want to miss out on a great read.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events amaze me in many ways.
Warning: There are a total of 13 volumes.
Based on the first three novels of the deliciously malicious Lemony Snicket series, A Series of Unfortunate Events,chronicles the misfortunes of the three extraordinary Baudelaire orphans, who are left in the not-so-loving care of a wickedly eccentric actor after their parents die in a mysterious fire. You won't find Roald Dahl or Tim Burton in the credits, but clearly their works influenced this sinister saga. Like many of Dahl's books, Snicket's heroes are courageous children plagued by dim-witted adults.
Inventor Violet Baudelaire, her intelligent younger brother Klaus, and their sharp-toothed, precocious baby sister, Sunny, are orphaned when a mysterious fire destroys their parents' mansion. Mr. Poe, the banker in charge of the Baudelaire estate, entrusts them to their "closest relative" like their parents' will says (Poe mistakenly interprets it as the relative that lives closest to them) the obnoxious Count Olaf, who is only interested in the money the children will inherit, and loses custody of the children after attempting to kill them in a staged train accident.
You see, the funny thing is that Lemony Snicket makes you not want to read the book. Many other authors want to make you read the book, not keep you away from the book.
Well, the point is that i love this book. It's very adventurous and exciting! Not dull or dry.

Coffe and a good book

For kids we can't drink coffee but nobody follows that rule. But when winter comes and your stuck in the house the best thing to have is a cup of coffee/hot coco and a good book. One time i was reading CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and i couldn't stop drinking my hot chocolate and ended up drinking seven cups ( yikes ). But the point is you will always have a good book with you !!!!

The Double life of Zoe Flyn

This book is about a girl who is moving out of her house, because her father has a new job and she has to leave all of her memories behind. While she is moving she has to go to school. But she can't tell anybody or she'll have to be sent away from her parents.

Things on my mind

Today was a lot of fun. I wished I didn't miss out on math though. I was looking forward to doing the sprint today. I thought that today was going to be a disaster. I also thought I'd get really bored in the spring concert. But it was okay since I survived the boredom. I was thinking about the upcoming play day. I hope it is fun! I feel sad about the last day of school which is coming up very soon. I don't want to leave the 6th grade year. It's exciting. I don't feel like a 7th grader yet. That's why I'm listening to Forever Young by Jay-Z(One of my favorite songs).

Wondered about words?

Have you ever wondered about who was the first person who made English words? I did, when I was young. Every time I make up a new word of my own, I'd think that I will find that person someday and tell them my new word. I would create illusions like that when I was young. Now that I think about it, I think it is a mystery on who really made up the first English word. There are so many English words in the English language that I don't even know where the word-maker started. I would go to ELA with pride if I ever find out who was the first to make up an English word.

Finding Great Book

Wow! There is a lot of blogging going on here! I am not sure if I can read them all. Recently I found something very interesting that can help you with your summer reading. It is on the scholastic.com website and it's called BookAlike (click on this name, it's a link to the website).

If there is a book that you love, type in the title. Then slide the little bar, to say if you would like the book to be easier or harder. Let's say for instance you LOVED Sideways Stories from Wayside School when you were younger, but now that would be too easy. Sooo....just type it in, slide the bar toward "harder" and POOF! (or ZOOM, if you prefer) you have a list of book which include: Space Station Seventh Grade by Jerry Spinelli and It's not my fault I know everything by Jim Benton. So, there are two books I might check out right away, because I loved Sideways Stories from Wayside School!

Fuzzy animal

Did anyone read the book "Peach Fuzz"? Give me suggestions on the book because I am reading it right now and it is weird because it talks about how she is a princess and how she had been ferret napped. It is also weird because she thinks that human hands are the five-headed snake.

I Tried a New Genre !

My new favorite genre ! Today I was finishing my reading quilt and I noticed that I had to read a comic book/graphic novel and when I first saw that I didn't even want to read a comic book/ graphic novel, but then I gave it a try and I actually liked it and I was really surprised !

We had a project to do over the school year and it was to read different genre's of books. But tomorrow is the dead line and i don't know what to do. But i finished it though, but this was the hardest thing because we must have forgotten about it, and we didn't know what to do we didn't focus on it we were to worried about PSSA's. Starbucks with my IDR book

I was at Starbucks reading my IDR book. I really enjoyed reading there! It's peaceful drinking a late with my favorite book, Gimme a Call by Sarah Mlynowski. I just started reading the book, but I'm loving it! Here, i don't get distracted by the television, chatting, and so much more! This is quite better than the library. But the library is still my favorite place to read!
This is one of my favorite place to read. I can relax and the weather was so nice, i decided to read my book outside the Cafe. It was very peaceful, since the block around the Cafe was very quiet.
About the book:
Gimme A Call is a fun read. Devi is coming to the end of her Senior year. She hasn’t gotten over the recent breakup with her long-term boyfriend, Bryan, when her phone suddenly allows her to talk with “Frosh,” Freshman self. She quickly discovers how mutable past events are and sets her younger self to work “improving” their life, trying to get into a better college. Devi is in constant contact and conflict with Frosh–Devi is adamant about removing Bryan from her life almost as much as he is about keeping himself in it. The littlest changes in Frosh’s schedule completely changes Devi’s–and everyone else’s–reality, but always leaves her memories intact. One minute her family is filthy rich and she has a prom date, then next it is back to normal and she doesn’t. When Devi’s phone battery begins to die she must learn to relinquish control of the past and her tired Frosh self.

I enjoyed both of the main characters. The dialogue was fresh and the pace smooth. There are no brilliant revelations hidden between these pages, but the concept of contentment and making wise-but-unanxious decisions is reinforced in a unique way. If you’re thinking of reading this book, give it a go!

JOHN LEWIS IN THE LEAD

This book will interest you about the civil rights movement and about John Lewis who fight for equal rights.The story is about John Lewis who was interest in civil rights when he was fifteen that when he heard Dr.Martin luter king Jr speech about segregation was wrong. My favorite part in the story is when john Lewis got beating by the mob but when he get better he still protest for equal right. I hope you enjoy reading this book if you can find one and happy reading!

Favorite way to enjoy reading

What is your favorite way to enjoy reading? Well, my favorite way is to listen to the natural sounds in my house and listening to music in the background. Doing this helps me enjoy my book because it soothes me from all my worries and problems so I can enjoy what I read! So after telling you this, what is YOUR favorite way to enjoy reading?

The book is a biography, it's about a boy in the beginning named as Henry, he wants to become a person that creates car, but his dad won't let him become one, but he won't give up his dream to become it, and later on, he invented a car, but people think those are just some waste of so much money just for an useless thing, so he's trying to improve it, so he got famous. I don't really liked the book that much, though.

Old Foes Become Allies

In the book ,Eldest, I am just reading, terrible, ugly monsters called Urgals, have just agreed to help the Varden and Surdans fight the Empire. Can you believe it?! This really surprised me because at first, the Varden and Urgals were fierce enemies. I wonder what will happen next....

Vampire Books and T.V Shows

I noticed that I like a lot of vampire books. For example I like the TWILIGHT saga. I also like Vampire Diaries the show which was a book at first. I would like to read that book but I haven't had the chance to. Also, I like Hourglass but I didn't finish reading it. But Lauren and Sharon both say that it's a good book. I also liked a show called "Moonlight" my mom and I use to watch but they don't have it on t.v anymore, so sad=(. I think that's why one of my favorite genres is fantasy.

READING IN FRONT OF PEOPLE !!!!!

When you hear that you have to read a speech or a poem in front of thousands and thousands of people you get nervous. But when you practice and practice you will not forget it. Poems are much easier because you can put feeling into it and really express what you are trying to get out. But when it's a debate or a speech it has to be serious and you can move and twitch you want you audience to take it seriously. For me I don't worry i say It like I wasn't doing a speech I get into what I'm saying and plus everybody there, is there to support you.

How do you see a movie and then read the book? I don't even want to read the book if I seen the movie because I already know whats going to happen next. For example How to Train Your Dragon.I don't know if i want to read it because I saw the movie. Difficult!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jumping Through Time

I once read a book called THE PAST IS GONE. It was full of humor and excitement. In the book, a kid from the future named Theodore Pine Four suddenly appears in someones bedroom. His Jumpman, a toy that kids from the future play with that allows them to travel through time, is broken. The creator of the Jumpman accidentally switches the remotes of two different Jumpman models and now Theodore is stuck in the past. Some kids agree to help him and they have a wild adventure travelling through time. They also have to take him to school with them. This book is really funny because Theodore doesn't understand anything from the past. For example; he thinks that riding a bike is a form of torture. If you like funny, wacky science-fiction books, then this is for you.

Super Sibling

My sister and I were reading together a baby book but still when I was reading to her I could see she understood. She kept making me reread the same part over and over. I'm guessing that is her favorite part! I also noticed she makes up her own words to go with the pictures she sees. It's so cute!

Females' Better Driving Skills

Another article caught my eyes in the newspaper. The article is about how investigators in a gas station discovered that females understands more about their driving directions than males. First, investigators asked the drivers that came for gas if they live near the area, then asked the drivers to recite the driving directions they used to travel to their destination(which is the gas station). A total of 60 people were interviewed: 30 men and 30 women. Most of the drivers don't live near the area, so they don't know the directions really well.
The result is females recite their directions with more corrections. 1/2 of the females recited their directions accurately, and only 1/3 of the males had the right answer.

Zatch Bell!

The book "Zatch Bell!" is a book about a mamodou (demon child) named Zatch and his partner named Kiyomaru. Zatch lost his memories when he was sent from the mamodou world to the demon world, and Zatch has this book of spell for his partner, Kiyomaru to use. As the story goes on, Zatch learns more spell that his partner would read to make him use spells. The book is basically about 100 child mamodous being sent from the mamodou world to the human world to decide the king of the mamodous. Zatch wants to be the king to stop making battles of the mamodous happens in the future.
I really liked this book.

You should read How to Steal a Dog because it will blow you away. It is about a girl who lived in a car because her family didn’t have enough money to rent an apartment. The girl Georgina decided to steal a dog because she wanted to have enough money to live in a real home like all the rest of her friends. It will make you always question what Georgina is always doing when she plans to steal the dog. It will make you think about what’s RIGHT or WRONG. The book will make you think about If you are interested in reading the book then ask me to borrow it.

Almost forever and Persepolis, how are these two stories relate to each other?

Almost forever by Maria Testa is about a girl named Maria who runs away from the war with her family during the Nazi war. They survived in a government town where the people there look normal to Maria. She is glad to be safe but she only wants to be safe with her father, who went to the war to fight the Nazi's. All she wishes is to be with her father and to make sure that he is safe and not hurt or injured. This story motivates me because she told her story in a poem form. All authors who tell their story do not use it in poem form. This I can try to cnnect with Persepolis because Marjane Satrapi, the author of her true story, has written her story in comic form. I think these two authors try expressing theirselves and doing something that no author has done before when they make their story. What do you think abut writers or authors who tell their story in different forms?

HIccup the Hero

This book is about a little viking boy who is hopeless and weak and he has a dragon that doesn't have teeth, while the other vikings does, but in the end he became a resilient and powerful person in the viking family and his toothlss dragon turns out to be one of the rare and powerful dragons and his dragon later had teeths sharper and more dangerous than the other viking's dragons. Then, Hiccup became the head of the viking's family and I suggest this book for whoever that likes a turn of events in a story for weak characters that later became a powerful and feared one in the story....and the rest of the books is for you to find out, his other adventures.

Have you try The Strange Case of Omangani Yoda?

You guys are going to try this book because a person named Tommy thinks that a student is using an omagani Yoda so that he can predict the future, and give advice. Also, the parts that are funny, and a how to make your omagani Yoda.

i think this book I'm reading now is the most interesting book I've ever read.I'm reading "hourglass" so far its about this girl who is becoming a vampire and she is in love with this guy who is named Lucas and he loves her no matter what!! i love romance books.....and now they are in new york city.. Bianca(the girl) and Lucas doesn't have a lot of time together so the only time they have together is when they are on patrol..but now they went to this abandoned hoe that was for rent and they went in and Bianca said why are we going in there? but all Lucas said was "privacy"....(ohhhhh what's going to happen?)

This book is focused on two students, Karin Maaka and Kenta Usui. They're friends and as you continue to read, these two students started to get to know each other more. Kenta Usui later finds out that Karin Maaka is a vampire, but not a full one yet. Karin Maaka is the middle child in a family of vampires who immigrated to Japan two centuries earlier. Unlike the rest of her family, Karin does not feed on blood, she produces it. As a result, she is forced to bite others to expel the extra blood. If she doesn't, she gives out nose bleeds.

If you like the comics Shugo Chara, Fruits Basket, and Bleach, I suggest you to read this.

If really love the details the author uses to describe Karin's past and much more. When I heard of this book, i thought it'll be really dull and boring. Many books are great in the beginning but dull at the end. But this one isn't like that. It continues to at least 13 volumes. You can find this in your local library. It's truly impossible for you to hate this book!

Lyrics

Sometimes when I am bored, I listen to music. When I turn my earphones up, I listen to the words the artists are singing. I like to relate to the lyrics sometimes because it gives me a happy feeling inside. I feel like I am part of the song when the song is sang to me. The lyrics can mean a lot of things. I like the lyrics that talk to me and make sense. Listening to the lyrics of a song is one of my favorite things to do when I am listening to music. The words are what I think makes up a song. What do you think makes up a song?

Next Book

I wonder if the next book of Bleach is going to be interesting because at the end of the first book, it ended with a talking parrot that can killed or injured people. So I wonder if the parrot is a hollow.I wonder if the girl will regain her power and help Ichigo turn more stronger. I think the next book of Bleach is going to be more fascinating because the first book is more like a introduction to the characters in the book.

Current Events !

While doing current events, I noticed that I was more interested in reading the news online that watching it on t.v. or maybe I was more interested in reading it online because I could talk to my friends and read at the same time. I don't know, but it seems like reading on the computer is better than watching the news on t.v.

Where the red fern grows

I am reading "Where the red fern grows" and it's about a boy and 2 dogs. So far, it has been very interesting. It's very exciting because the boy, Billy owned 2 coon hound dogs and the hound dogs hunt and it is very exciting. I really like it so far.

I improved!

Last year in 5th grade we took the DRA's as usual. This year teacher Benaline did it differently. I like the way it is in 6th grade because it was faster and this year I had just right books to read. I think I improved and I am proud of myself and a teacher told me I am a powerful reader! I feel special. Comment below.

This book called "The Last Book in the Universe" is a definite adoration in the time being.
Since last week, i have been reading this book. If you see this book lying around, better pick it up and read it!
What i love:
This book draws you right into it, the language is a bit odd, but it's something that you get used to. It's full of believable adventure and the imagery is very vivid. It's got a lot of feelings and literally heavy hints in it. It challenges the main character to think about his situation and builds him up from childhood to see what the world is really like. The elderly get to go on an adventure and is educational without being the type to hold things against people.
What i hated:
The air of unfinished business. How I wanted to see what would happen next. The attitude of the main character also annoys me after awhile, but it's because of all the negativity of it all. It's a little scary to think that there will be improved humans who want to kill us by using the things we want most against us.

Overall, i LOVE this book. I just need to blog about it. [:

Nine year old Noboru Yamada is a ordinary boy that likes to receyle all his bottles and cans and for his good deed he is rewarded with Pet(polyethylene terephthalate)a kind of super robot that has been transform when Noboru Yamada recycle his bottle which help him when he has trouble but it turned out that Pet created more trouble when he is their to help Noboru Yamada.This is a Hilarious book and I really recommend this book too everyone because it could teaches everyone a lesson to recycle and help mother earth.You should read this book it a good Grapic Novels.

If you like reading and you want to read a book go to the library. You can borrow many books of your choice and you can even borrow dvds. It it also a great way to use the internet or to do homework. Why go to buy a book when you can get it for free at the library? Unless that is if you want to keep the book and read it all the time then you should buy it. But remember if you lose a book or if you past the due date you will have to pay. Also, don't forget where you put your library card or will need a new one, like I did or, someone might find it and use it. But if you ever want to read a book go to the library. If you can't find a library near, well just trust me you will find one there are so many libraries in Philadelphia.

TWILIGHT SAGA

The twilight series has been a hit sense it's first movie in 2009. But now everybody around the world is enjoying this blood sucking hit. When you read this book it makes you feel like you are really there in Forks Washington seeing all the drama and action. But now they are turning every book the made into a book. New Moon was the second book and has been turned in a movie. But in June Eclipse is coming out into screens near you !!!! Enjoy comment please :(

Pokemon!

I read a book named "Pokemon Diamond And Pearl Adventure!" and I liked the book. The book is about a boy and his Pokemon fighting Team Galactic, I think this book can be recommended for kids age seven up to read it because I do think this book is a childish book, but I still like it a little.

Finding a just right book

When you find a just right you have to read the blurb and see if it is really interesting, and see if you read it well not to slow not to fast. Make sure you no what is going on in the book. If you can do that you have picked your just right book !

Milkweed

This book is a little confusing because I don't really like it. I started reading it from Teacher's Benaline book club and I didn't really focus on it too much because it was really boring. But when I started to hear from people saying that this book was really interesting, I kind of started to read it but the people lied, it was still boring.

My favorite genres are Realistic Fiction, Fantasy, Graphic Novels, and Adventures. Realistic fictions because I can easily connect with the people. Fantasy because there are a lot of magic. Graphic Novels because of the pictures and its format. Adventures because its action packed!

Current reads.

Well, now I am currently reading the book Crazy Lady! It's going great so far, but I also think it's just getting started. This book talks a lot about Ronald, a boy who lost his mother at the age of 9 and has a dad that has low self esteem. I'll continue reading it and see if it turns out good. Comment below.

I am reading a book called Thirteen days to midnight. It is hard to understand the story. It is still really interesting. It is probably hard to understand because it is a teens book. Hows your book? :D

Do you ever think about the books meaning or what it is trying to say? Sometimes I don't think about it, i just read to finish. It makes it interesting when you find what the story means. comment :)

More reading time

I wonder why sometimes I don't feel like reading on the weekends. I asked my mom about it and she says that the weekend is usually for fun and entertainment. I gave some thought to that and tried to make it readable. Whenever I do homework for ELA, I force myself to make me in the mood for reading. I want to be able to enjoy a book without putting it down because of distractions. I usually read in my room but I don't pay attention. I guess I have to concentrate in the book more frequently.

Finish it off

I am almost finish with the book Bleach and I think that this graphic novel (manga) is creepy and scary. It have a lot of violence and have a lot of dying. I wish it will have a good ending to the book. I think Ichigo will be a powerful soul reaper because the girl said that his smell can hide monsters. Ichigo have weird orange hair.

Walking Reading

Teacher Benaline did an exercise with us. But the trick was we had to red while we walking. It was hard to concentrate while walking because you need to watch where you walk and who is near you. When you have a good book you can't put it down but when i had my book i was the same way but i still had to watch where i was going.

I think the book is getting interesting, Although i only read a little bit,i already get a sense of what is it going to be about. I know is a good book to read because i read the blurb and me and t.Reachel had a good discussion about the book.During the reading i just find a symbol that represents good times and when ever they ride the ferris wheel it gives them happy/good times i think.

When you pick a book you do not know if the book will entertain you or not. If you pick a book that looks like it is not going to make you fall asleep read the blurb.If your book does not get interesting to you wait until you get to the middle or the end of the book. Books and Movies

Do you notice that a lot of good books are movies? So if your ever want to find a god book find a book that was made into a movie. Now I'm starting to find books that were movies like the TWILIGHT saga and etc. Also you connect the book that you read to the movie. But the books are more interesting than the movie. I suggest that you should read the book before the movie or if you want you could just watch the movie because you can visualize things from the movie into the book.

SEPTA 's Ads

While on SEPTA, coming home from my after-school program I noticed that there were ads everywhere and i thought it was a good place to have them because lots of people ride SEPTA everyday and they could get information from the ads hanging around the bus.There were lots of ads that I found very interesting and I learned many things from certain blogs.

Leave it to PET!

The book I've read "Leave it to PET!" is a great book. It is a comedy book, it is a very funny book. I recommend people ages seven and up to read it. It is a graphic novel, the book is about a boy named Noboru Yamada that had recyclede a bottle orange can and got a robot named Pet, Pet stands for polyethylene terephthalate. Pet have to help Noboru no matter what, but Pet always seem to get Noboru in trouble than what he wants..........

So I really liked the book a lot.

Reading Is Fun

READING IS SO MUCH FUN! It's like television, but in your head. Reading is a good way to learn and also reading is loads of fun. Even though sometimes you might judge a book by its cover , but then it might be a good books to read. You just have to try out the book and see if its interest you.

Reading is also a good education for everyone.

Jerry Spinelli hater !

I HATE Jerry Spinelli, his books are so confusing and boring. No offense to Jerry Spinelli lovers but oh my goodness his books makes me so bored, I decide to read his books at night while I'm getting ready for bed but it's not even 10:00 yet and already fall asleep. His books are so boring, I tried every skill I know of to try to make the book fun, but his books are non-awesome! I don't really know why I hate his books, but his books is so not cool. We had "Milkweed" by Jerry Spinelli for our book group book and I didn't even want to read it but I had to. Usually I don't have a hate for authors as much but now I found out that I HATE Jerry Spinelli.

Interesting and Exciting

I'm currently reading the sequel to the book Eragon. It is called ELDEST and is very interesting. So far, Eragon and Saphira have traveled to the elven capital city Ellesmera to be trained as a Rider.During his time staying he realizes that there is another Rider! At first, he thought that he was the last one. If you like suspense and action, then this is the book for you.Tell me what you think of it......

The book"Death Note 2''

I have finish reading the book called Death Note 2 a few days ago and I think it is a good Grapic Novels.In the book it talks about how 12 FBI agents got heart attack and everyone think kira murdered them.So Yagami-San and five of his students and Ryuzaki worked together to figured out what kira did to them and they planned to put secret cameras and listening devices on kira's house.What do you think will happened will kira found out about the secret cameras and listening devices?Read this book to find out,you may also do it for your reading quilt.It a book with a lot of actions.

Fun way to read

I find it very relaxing to read with music playing in the back round. This helps concentrate on the book I'm reading. But when i don't have music on I can't focus on what I am reading about. What is your favorite way to read?

How To Say Goodbye in Robot ♥

I had absolutely adored this book. It's about this girl, Beatrice (Bea), who likes to think of herself as a robot, completely heartless. That's what her mom thinks of her. She meets a ghost boy and together they had this bond that was not romance, but not friendship either. It's really sweet. But one day, for some reason the ghost boy left her. Since he's the editor of the school yearbook, he managed to get rid of ALL his photos the yearbook has of him. No one would be able to look for him, since no one has a picture of him. He managed to get robot girl (Bea) a picture of them together at the photo booth, insisting that she shouldn't find him and that she shouldn't abuse it.
What interested me was on the blurb, it says "hairdressers are the happiest people in the world". If that's so, I'd like to know why. [:
I am recommending this book to everyone! This book is a real page-turner and it's really hard to put down! Go to your library and check this book out! It's really interesting.

Nana (A manga)

Nana is by Ai Yazawa is a romantic, dramatic, and funny book. I love this book because it made me cry so much. It's about these two girls who are both named Nana and they met in the train to search for their boyfriends in Tokyo. Nana Osaki is a punk singer in a band that her boyfriend is in the same band too but when he left for another band in Tokyo to raise money for his own band . Nana Komatsu is a ordinary girl when her boyfriend was leaving her because he had to go to an art school in Tokyo but when Nana went to Tokyo her boyfriend left her for another girl.
